A promising mango hybrid ‘Ambika’ having a yellow colour with red blush, firm flesh and scanty fibre

An obliquely oval specimen presents an unblemished golden yellow thin edible skin. These mangoes are large-sized, weighing on an average 350-400 grams. The pulp is fibreless, firm, and yellow with a sweet taste, Imported from the Andhra region of India. Is also known as Benishan in some parts of the country.
The peak season for Banginapalli is between mid-April and mid-June.

The Himsagar mango, a thin-skinned mango, is characterised by complete absence of fibre, a golden hue, pleasant aroma and unparalleled sweetness. It grows in Malda, Murshidabad, Nadia and Hooghly districts of West Bengal.
Indian Sweet Swarnarekha / Suvarna Rekha mangoes are perfectly shaped – large, oblong base. The skin is reddish golden yellow with a floral aroma and an acidic-sweet taste. It is a seasonal (April to May) variety.
Fibreless, extremely fragrant, delicious- everything you did not know even existed in a fruit. Yummy, sensitive and temperamental, it is said that every person in the Alphonso belt has a secret desire to taste at least one Ratnagiri-Devgad Alphonso in a season- otherwise what is life worth living for!!
The first flowering of Alphonso mangoes generally matures in February and the second flowering is generally ready in April.
Its peak season is from mid-April to mid-May. We get most of our supply of Alphonso mangoes from top orchards in Ratnagiri and Devgad.
